RecipesFor each one:
1 generous scoop of brown sugar
About the same amount of butter
1 glug of maple syrup
1 handful of coarsely chopped pecans
Melt above till bubbly.
1 large apple, peeled and cut into large chunks
1 small handfull cranberries, fresh or frozen
Spoonful of Harvest Crunch or other cereal (optional)
Combine all into a ramekin and bake at whatever temperature your oven is one for as long as you have till they arrive. Sometimes a gentle stir seems appropriate. Dust with icing sugar. Serve.
I make the sauce in large quantity and refrigerate. It solidifies, so I chip some out as required each morning. I peel and core apples and freeze in Ziplock bags.
