Mix together in large bowl:
4 cups large flake rolled oats, wheat or
mixture of both
1-cup wheat germ
1 cup sunflower seeds
Sesame seeds
Pumpkin seeds
Bran
1 cup sliced almonds
½ cup flax seeds
1-cup milk powder
Heat together:
¾ cup honey
¾ cup oil. (I use half oil and half water for a lighter taste)
Spread evenly over large cookie sheet or two smaller ones.
Bake 350° for 10-15 min. ( untill heated through) Stir well, return to oven for 5-6 min. and repeat this until desired brownness stirring each time. ( A nice tan color is best I find)
Add: 1 cup washed raisins while granola mixture is still hot.
When cool, store in ice cream pail for up to 1 month.
Make this with whatever combination you prefer. It always turns out good and guests love it.
