Saw this a couple of years ago at Madison Park, a top notch restaruant in NYC - where we brunched on our First TDBAB Alumni Reunion. They charged $20 a plate. We ordered one, for the table, and then decided to copy it.

Broiled Fillet of Grapefruit


Peel, section and remove membranes from a grapefruit.

Place on SilPat, sprinkly generously with brown sugar and a dusting of cinnamon, and broil for 5 min or so.

Put on plates, add a few blueberries, maybe a mint leaf, and glaze with a tiny drizzle of MMM syrup.
