Brussell sprouts and tomaotes

1lb Brussel sprouts
2 tablespoons water
1 can stewed tomatoes (540ml)
1 medium onion chopped
2 tablespoons Parmesan

Remove outer layer of sprouts and wash,trim stems,not too close or will fall apart when cooking.
Place with water in microwave, cover, cook on high for 7 minutes or until tender.Plunge sprouts immediately into cold water to stop the cooking and preserve the color.
Mix tomato and onion in bowl and microwave uncovered for 6 min until onion is tender.
Cut Brussel sprouts in half and add to tomato mixture,place in oven proof dish,Sprinkle with cheese and bake in hot oven until cheese is melted. Can add other cheeses if wish.
