We were invited to friends' house for dinner the other night where she served this cheese ball as an appetizer. Yummeeee, and she said she makes them up ahead and freezes them.
2 cups grated sharp cheddar
4TBSP Margarine or butter
1 tsp. Worchestershire Sauce
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 cup grated onion
Walnut or pecan pieces
Method: Combine cheddar, marg./butter and Worchestershire sauce until mixed
well. Add cream cheese and beat until fluffy.
Add onion and chill.
When chilled, shape into two balls and coat with chopped nuts.
You might also want to add some nuts to the cheese mixture.
