Chicken, Bacon and Banana Kebab


230-350g chicken breast (skin removed)
five spice marinade
5 - 6 bananas
lemon juice
20-350g rindless bacon - 15-30 slices
olive oil for barbequeing

Method
Cut chicken into 2cm cubes. Toss with five spice marinade and leave for several hours or overnight.
Drain chicken of marinade
Cut each banana into 6-7 pieces (you need 30 pieces) and toss pieces with lemon juice. If bacon is wide cut each piece in half lengthways (you need 30 pieces)
Starting with bacon, skewer bacon then chicken then banana on each skewer and twist bacon around so you cover as much as possible of the chicken and banana.
Smear a medium to hot bbq with a little olive oil and sear the kebabs. Aternatively grill or cook in a very hot oven (200 degrees)
