Cranberry Grapefruit Starter
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 cups cranberries
3 grapefruits , peeled and sectioned
The night before ...
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water; boil; stir to dissolve sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Add cranberries & cook until skins pop, about 5 minutes more. Remove from heat & chill.
In the morning....in individual servings bowls, spoon the cranberries over the prepared grapefruit sections. Garnish as desired.
