1 1/2 Creamy Ranch Style Salad Dressing
1 cup mayo (I use the real stuff, but light would work)
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic granules (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
black pepper optional
Whisk all ingredients until creamy, store in refrigerator.
Variation: Omit garlic, add crumbled blue cheese.
Fresh garlic is nicer, but if in a hurry, use the granulated.
Flavours intensify after a few days' storage.
