East West/Coast Breakfast Bagels

4 poached eggs
2 onion-poppy seed bagels, cut horizontally in half
6 tablespoons soft cream cheese
3 ounces smoked salmon
2 thin slices red onion
2 teaspoons drained capers

Poach eggs. Toast bagels. Spread 1 1/2 tablespoon cream cheese over each half. Cover each with portion of salmon - around the edges. Put patted dry poached egg in centre of each. Top with onion and capers.

Makes 4 halves.
