Just because I had nothing else to do today I did a little "surfing" today, and lo and behold, on the ABC site, there was the recipe for Emeril's essence...... I had it in my hand in a store last week, they wanted $3.99 for a small shaker bottle. I didn't buy it. So, here is the recipe. Since they posted it on their web-site, I can't imagine that there is anything illegal about passing it on!
5 tbsp. sweet paprika
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup garlic powder
2 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp. onion powder
2 tbsp cayenne
2 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsp dried thyme
Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container.
