Flaxseed Porridge

3 tablespoon of flax seed: Grind in coffee grinder just before you use it, if grind ahead of time or buy the pre ground you are then not getting the full benefits of the oils in the seed that help to lower your cholesterol.They evaporate after being ground and left sitting.
Add Good tsp of cinnamon once ground.
Add hot boiled water , maybe 1/4 cup..to it until a bit stiff like porridge, not too much as goes a bit slimy.
Top with real cream.

Ymmmm.

Now can add some splenda if have a sweet tooth.
If allowed fruits can top with strawberries or blueberries.
Carb count without the cream: 2.
I often double the recipe and it fills me for hours..

I usually add a tsp of whole seeds to facilitate the intestinal sweeping action. I think you suggested leaving some seeds whole, but mine grinds 'em all into meal so I just add a tsp of whole seeds to the mixture.
Don't use the cinnamon either. May try a little tho.
