This savory mix uses a pasta sauce mix to make the crunchy coating.
5 cups cornflakes
4 cups toasted round oat cereal
2 cups small pretzels
2 cups mixed nuts
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1 1.5-oz. pkg. four cheese pasta sauce mix
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried parsley
Combine cereal, pretzels and nuts in large bowl or large zip top plastic bag and mix well. Drizzle melted butter over mixture. Stir or shake well.
Combine parmesan cheese, sauce mix and herbs and sprinkle over cereal mixture. Stir or shake well.
Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees 10-12 minutes, stirring
twice during baking.
Cool and store in airtight container.
