RecipesDempsters cinnamon raisin bread. (Nice sized, thick slices)
spreadable cream cheese
sliced almonds
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Spread each slice of bread with cream chees, sprinkle layer of almonds on half of the slices. Make like a sandwich, dip in egg mixture, cook on griddle until egg is browned. (it can burn because of the sugar)
I place these in the oven (about 150°) for a while because that makes the cheese melt together. Serve with maple syrup, fruit garnish and whipped cream if desired.
This is a very easy breakfast. Make sure no one is allergic to nuts first. It is fine without nuts but the nuts give it a little crunch.
