When I couldn't get on the board this morning for some reason I started poking around in my recipe books and gave this one a try. I put them in a warm oven for 20 minutes just to see how they would stand up to being kept warm well doing more...if ya know what I mean . They were fine. Didn't go soggy or hard.

French Toast Waffles

2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter or marg
pinch of salt
(Note: Next time I will add a little vanilla)

Beat eggs together in shallow bowl. Add milk, butter and salt. Dip both sides of bread slices into egg mixture. Cook in hot waffle iron until browned. Makes 6 french toast waffles. Super simple and !
