RecipesI found this in one of my very old collection of recipes. Maybe this is what I based my other recipe on, but I don't remember.
Make up the dry mix in a large quantity, then just mix the wet ingredients as you use the dressing.
Ingredients:
15 saltines
2 cups dry minced parsley
1/2 cup dry minced onion
2 tablespoons dry dill seeds
1/4 cup onion salt
1/4 cup garlic salt
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup garlic powder
Dressing:
1 tablespoon dry mix
1 cup mayo
1 cup buttermilk
Put crackers through blender/food processor at high speed until powdered.
Add parsley, minced onions, and dill, blending until powdered. Dump into a bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients, mix well, and store in airtight container.
Store mix at room temp. for up to 1 year. Makes 42 1 tablespoon servings.
This is for people who really use a lot of ranch dressing!
To use, combine dry mix with mayo and buttermilk. (makes one pint)
