Recipes1 can (14oz.) kidney beans
1 can " chick peas
1 can " green beans (I use fresh or frozen)
1 can " yellow beans (I use fresh or frozen and all green)
1 can " pork & beans in milasses sauce
1/2 lb. chopped bacon, browned & drained
4 onions cut in half and sliced - forming half rings
1 cup of brown sugar (I cut back on the sugar but you do need some for the sauce)
2 tbl. molasses
2 tsp. dry mustard (I added grain mustard as well)
1/2 cup of vinegar
350 - After cooing bacon, cook onions until soft. To bacon fat, add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 min. Add beans, bacon and onions - mix - 2 1/2 quart casserole - 1 hour Serves 12 - 14.
