1. Make orange jello replacing half the water with vodka or vodka/orange liq.
2. Hollow out orange halves and pour in the vodka/jello
3. Slice the 'shots' as you would slice an orange.
My own version of this uses clamato, salsa, and vodka done in lemon or line
halves.

1 pkg raspberry jello
1 part yukon jack
2 parts water
or
1 pkg lime jello
1 part tequilla
2 parts water
I used to do this in a glass baking dish. I've become more sophisticated over the years and now use little platic condiment cups.
No occifer, honestly, I didn't have anything to drink I dunno why the machine
thinks I did.
