St Valentine's Day Menus

Canadian Pomme d'Amour

Start with a dark or coloured plate and a valentine paper cut out. Sprinkle icing sugar around the outside of the heart shape. Remove.

Add two crepes inside the heart with raspberry filling just spilling out.

With a heart cutter, find some smoked lox and put tiny lox hearts around the crepes to decorate.

Cranberry juice in champagne glasses with a bit of gingerale or lemongrass for punch.

An exotic fruit plate with pomegranate, those red fruits with all the red seeds.

Polenta Hearts With Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sauce

To Serve

Warm the Red Pepper sauce and pool 1/4 onto a plate. Add 1/4 of the hot polenta hearts. Garnish with fresh thyme.
Serve with sausage.
