Newfoundland Bread Pudding

4 eggs beaten
1/2 c sugar
3 c heated milk (can use carnation milk)
2 tbl. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 - 1/2 cup raisins or your choice of fruit or(1/2c pinapple with juice)
2 c soft bread cubes
pinch salt
Combine egg, sugar and salt in a bowl and slowly mix in hot milk and butter. Mix and add vanilla, raisins or fruit and bread cubes.
Pour into dish and bake in a water bath l - 1 1/4hr. at 350 till lightly browned on top.
