Ok, so this is my first experiment using the sandwich toaster for 'other' things.
Made the basic crustless quiche recipe for my brekkie:
Sprayed the Toaster with Pam.
2 eggs
Dollop of sour cream
Chopped fresh chives
Squirt of yellow mustard
Handful of Hormel cooked, crumbled bacon (great stuff)
Couple of pinches of dried basil
Some grated 'aged' cheddar
Mixed it up and it filled all 4 sections!
Made me feel like I was eating a lot more than I was. (Seriously back on LowCarb grub since yesterday, so this was my brekkie)
T'would be great for only two guest, methinks.
Now imagine, for guests, A cherry tomato or a basil leaf in the middle of the eggs and a side of home fries, some back bacon, a stuffed mushroom cap, or whatever to fill out the plate..
