RecipesSaw this on a menu in Cleveland and wrote it down - didn't try it - till today. Wow! What a wonderful flavour mix. And as I'm now "green" - serving salad sides instead of potatoes - this is a great variation. Served it today with a mushroom/cheese omelete - realized just as I was plating it that I've gone overboard here. The other side was sauteed snowpeas and sliced radishes. I had two sides of the same colours! So ... I put the omelet in the middle of the plate and bookended it with the warm/cold greens.
Anyway, to the salad:
Baby spinach leaves
sliced strawberries
shaved (really, thin!) red onion
crumbled bleu cheese
dressed with honey-mustard-poppy seed dressing.
One tiny bottle of mayonaise
a healthy spoonful of Manuka honey and
a smaller spoonful of Dijon, plus
a bunch of poppy seeds
Keeps for weeks.
