It's finally hot here! I've been trying this myself, and it is quite refreshing. (I'm just using teabags.) There are lots of fun variations of this on the 'net, including rosemary, lemon, fruit. I think it could be a nice option for breakfast....

Sun Tea

Basic Sun Tea

3 tsp. loose tea or tea bag per quart of cold water

Submerge tea ball in glass jar filled with the cold water. Add any herbs you like (or citrus peel). Put lid on and place in a sunny spot for 3-6 hours. When tea is to strength, remove tea ball. Refrigerate 2-24 hours.

To serve, pour over ice cubes. Add sugar or citrus as desired.

Add fresh fruit only at serving time. If you use herbs, or fruit, garnish similarly.

Teas to use: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Orange Pekoe
Flavoured or Herbal teas.

Fizzy Sun Tea

Brew tea strong. Add Soda.

Summer Fruit Sun Tea

Puree fresh fruit and add 2 Tbsp. per full glass of tea. (You can add the pureed fruit or strain it if you don't like seeds.)
