What to do:

Much to do, and much to see. Spend the day in Old Montreal and the Old Port. Walk cobblestone streets and feel like you have stepped back into time with the architecture of such lovely old buildings. Spend some quite time in the Notre Dame Catherdal, a minature version of the original located in Paris, France.

If culture, art or antiques are dear to your heart, well, Montreal has it for you. Spend hours browsing the many and plentiful antique shops along Notre Dame Antique alley, or chose the many museums available for your pleasure: The McCord Museum, PacMuseum, Margerrite-Bourgeoys are just a few. . If architecture is your pleasure, try the Canadian Centre for Architecture or the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

There is also the Environment Canada's Biosphere, the Montreal Biodom and of course the Montreal Botanical Garden and the Montreal Insectarium or Montreal Planetarium or the Montreal Science Centre. Phew! So much to do, so little time.

Eating well:

Montreal is world-famous for its exemplary cuisine. It is said, with certain truth, that it is impossible to find a bad meal in Montreal.

Explore St. Denis or St. Laurent street with their many lovely shops and outside cafes. For the gourmet in you, spend a few hours exploring Atwater farmer's market, located within a 10 minute walk of D&D's B&B. Any kind of sweet treats, daily made bread, fruits, local and imported cheese, anything you heart - and tummy - may desire.

For the romantic, book a dinner cruise on the Le Bateau-Mouche, an elegant Parisian riverboat with their gourmet meals catered by Montreal's Queen Elizabeth Hotel, live musicians performing romantic French songs, an upper deck housing an excluvisve VIP lounge and outdoor terrace. The whole time you are cruising the wonderful waterways of Montreal.

Restaurants ... are just too many to mention. And the nightlife is second to none, here in Montreal.
